Oak Cabin is a Scandinavian-inspired tiny home tucked on 40 private acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. With cathedral ceilings, modern design, and picture windows framing the forest, it’s made for rest and comfort. Wander wooded and creekside trails, relax in the barrel sauna, or gather by the fire pit under a starry sky. Oak Cabin is a handcrafted, Nordic-inspired retreat designed for peace and simplicity. Large windows invite the forest in, while the minimalist style creates a calm escape from everyday life. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for comfort—without the distractions of screens or WiFi—so you can truly unplug and reconnect. The bedroom features a plush king bed with Oeko-Tex linens. The spa-like bathroom has a cedar-lined shower with soft lighting, a sink, toilet, and an apex window for natural light. We provide clean, plant-based toiletries from The Good Fill. The kitchenette is stocked with essentials for simple meals, including an induction cooktop, under-counter refrigerator, dishes, utensils, and glasses. You’ll also find a Blackstone grill outdoors for cooking under the trees. Coffee lovers will appreciate the French press, burr grinder, electric kettle, and fresh beans we provide, along with organic teas. A Sonos speaker makes it easy to play your own music, and a rechargeable lantern adds a cozy glow indoors or outside. Just outside, your private patio area has a fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, a grill and a dining space. From here, it’s just steps to our forest trails and creekside paths. Guests also have access to the outdoor spa area with a 6-person barrel sauna and a cold shower under the stars. Upon request, we’re happy to provide extras for your stay, including hiking poles or a cornhole set You’ll receive a private smart lock code on the day of arrival for easy self check-in. You’ll have full use of Oak Cabin and your private outdoor patio area, as well as access to our 40 acres of trails and the shared outdoor spa with sauna. The spa's cold shower is available year-round unless temperatures drop below freezing. Our cabin sits between the charming mountain towns of Blue Ridge and Blairsville, just five minutes from Lake Nottely. Within 25 miles, you’ll find ten waterfalls, countless hiking trails—including the Appalachian Trail—and endless ways to enjoy the outdoors. Guests love hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, tubing, horseback riding, and visiting local orchards. When you’re ready for a night out, both Blue Ridge and Blairsville offer great restaurants, local shops, and a laid-back mountain vibe. You’ll also find nearby wineries with stunning views and local breweries to explore. This area is famous for its breathtaking mountain scenery. Don’t miss the drive up to Brasstown Bald, Georgia’s highest point, for views that stretch above the clouds—or a trip to Hogpen Gap overlook for another unforgettable Blue Ridge vista. Once you book, we’ll send over our insider’s guide with favorite spots and activities to make your trip extra special. You’ll want a car to explore the area. Most places are just a 10–20 minute drive, and the best part is often the drive itself—peaceful, scenic, and free from traffic. Your privacy is important to us. While there is another cabin on the property, both Oak and Maple cabins are carefully angled so each has its own view of the woods. Please note: Oak Cabin does not have a TV or WiFi; cellular service is available.
